We are all devoted dog lovers. We don’t travel a lot, but when we do it is always a wonderful thing to know that Zoe is in a loving family home and not boarding in a kennel. We work from home and still have kids in school, so we have a very consistent routine and lots of stability in our home. We sleep in the same room with Zoe, whose favorite activities are walking, sniffing, playing with other dogs, and chewing a bone on our sofa. We would love to provide that for your dog. We are available for help with walks and dog sitting during the day too, especially if you are within walking distance of our home. Namaste!

Can be crated at night, she prefers that when not at home. Easy schedule : walk in the morning, noontime, late afternoon, just before bedtime (but optional). Good walker and fit dog. Shorter walks in the summer as she tends to overheat. Total lap dog too, loves being with people.

Hello! We are parents to a wonderful white German shepherd, sheltie, terrier mix named Pebble! She is 70 lbs, warms to people very quickly, loves walkies, and very well trained (we even used to walk off leash in the city!). We live in Moraga - have a house with a big back yard (lots of grass). We’re happy to host 1 dog at a time - we have twin daughters who keep us pretty occupied so maybe we can host more once they’re older! We’d prefer a female dog as Pebble is often scared of boy dogs for some reason. Lastly, it would be great if the dog is comfortable around little kids!

Sally

Moraga, CA

  Breed: Goldendoodle

  Weight: 60 lbs

  Age: 10 years old

  Gender: Female

We are a family of 5 living in Moraga. Our kids are 7 and 4 (twins). Our dog Sally is 8 years old and is 60 lbs. She loves people and affection. She can be a bit shy around other dogs but warms up quickly and has never been aggressive. We’ve noticed she warms up to smaller dogs faster and has had some bad experiences with bigger dogs so she is more apprehensive around bigger dogs. I think we’d prefer to host smaller dogs (less than 60lbs) but would be open to bigger dogs if Sally gets along well with them.

  Breed: Labrador Retriever

  Weight: 50 lbs

  Age: 10 years old

We adopted Olive from Taiwan in April 2019. She was considered an adult dog then and probably around 5 years old when we got her. She's extremely gentle and easy going. She likes her walks. A short one in the am and a longer one in the afternoon. Hardly barks and pretty much just hangs out. Likes most dogs but doesn't really "play" with them. Just introduces herself and does her own thing.

His dad works from home and keeps him company throughout the day, so he’s never too lonely and likes to stick close. He loves tug of war and belly rubs!

  Weight: 35 lbs

  Age: 4 years old

  Gender: Female

Hello. I’m a retired lady living with my pre Covid 3 year old labradoodle, Pumpkin. I travel occasionally to visit family or for adventure and would love to leave Pumpkin with someone who would treat her like family. She currently stays in the house (house trained) and goes on walks and goes in and out of a doggie door to check out our secured backyard and to play catch with a ball. She likes to run and play with similar sized dogs. She is initially shy with new people but quickly becomes attached to many family and friends. I sometimes watch a similar dog when her owner is away and our dogs get along great! She has watched mine as well successfully! I’d love to find a similar situation more locally or when my friend is unavailable. Happy to meet for a play date to see if we and our dogs are compatible!

Meet Oliver! He is 70 pounds of pure fun! Oliver lives in Moraga and just turned two. We rescued him at 8 weeks. He’s a lab/pitt mix. He is ISO other dogs that like to play HARD. He loves to wrestle with his best buds and can play aggressively for about 20-30 mins before pooping out and being a couch potato for the rest of the day. Hoping to develop a play date friendship first and then possibly develop into overnight stays/vacation swaps. He can be leash aggressive (esp around intact dogs) and will bark loudly at newcomers until he gives you a good sniff. No kids under 10 around this guy. Let me know if interested in some big play action!

Hi Woofy Club! I'm Mona and I live in Moraga with my husband and two dogs. We have an 13 year old Bichon-Poodle mix named Rocky and a 3 year old golden retriever named Nellie. While we have two dogs, it would be tough for us to host another 2 dogs and have 4 in total at a time so at max, we can host one other dog. We don't mind if the other dog sheds but will need to meet up ahead of time to see how our dogs get along together. Dogs staying with us will definitely get regular attention and exercise.
