Dog Boarding near Pacheco, CA

Hello! We’re Lauren, Tony, and we have Chewy, our 4 year old 45lb F1 Goldendoodle. We recently moved to the east bay after living in the city for nearly a decade, and looking for some new friends for Chewy to stay with when we travel without him. Chewy is starting to calm down more as he ages toward his adult years, but still has a lot of excitement in him when with new people or dogs. He’s got a toddler human brother and sister at home, and loves kids. He’s very gentle and patient with babies. Chewy takes a few moments to warm up to new people, and is a nervous around people who come on too strong, but he warms up quickly! We do not bring him to dog parks anymore, because he gets too scared around all the energy :( he is happy with one short morning walk and one evening walk, or one longer walk. Once he’s exercised, he sleeps all day and will snuggle on the couch with you if you invite him to :) Chewy is potty trained, sleeps in the living room at night, and would do best with someone who works from home or in and out of the house, as he’s used to that with us. If you have socks/tissues laying around, he will take them into his mouth and hide under a desk/bed and hold them hostage, but he won’t shred them up or anything. He’s not a chewer anymore, thankfully! Happy to swap doggie care if your dog is comfortable around babies! We have a large fenced backyard for the dogs to roam :)
