Pluto the Dwarf Planet is a small Australian Labradoodle who loves people more than food. She's very playful and loves playing with toys and other dogs. The love of her life is a stuffed hotdog...she is 23 lbs, crate trained and housetrained. She loves going on walks and visiting fully fenced dog parks. Leashed hikes at the Lafayette Reservoir are one of her favorite things! But she'd rather play with another doggo than go for a walk! Loves to play fetch! She sleeps at night in her crate, which she loves!

Bailey sleeps in a crate at night, so we'd like to watch another dog who also stays in a crate or will sleep on a specific bed/mat.

Coco is a sweet pup, a bit timid with strangers initially, but would warm up eventually. He loves being with his human. He is pretty chill during the day, sleep most of the time. Doesn't require lots of walks. Love to run off-leash in the open space. He knows basic command such as sit, down, stay and paw. He pulls on leash (still working on fixing that) He sleeps in the crate at night and is house trained.

Jasper is also a great host, we've had several different dogs at our house and is very good at sharing his food, toys, and blankets.

My husband, Trenton, our dog, Arlo and I are residents of the East Bay and looking to meet some local dogs in the area to keep Arlo socialized. Arlo is a 2 year old, short-hair, double dapple dachshund. He is neutered, micro-chipped, house-trained and normally friendly with dogs if they if they are able to first meet off-leash. Arlo's favorite game is catch/fetch with his orange ball or if you a have a strong arm, tug-of-war is great too! An important thing to note is that Arlo is deaf. He was born with a hearing impairment and as a result, can be reactive to surprise appearances. Arlo is scared of the dark (understandably so given he loses a second sense when the lights are off) so we use a nightlight for bedtime. Arlo isn't great with children at first given their quick movements and tendencies to reach out to pet without an introduction but warms up to them once he understands they are part of the inner circle.

Hi! We have a sweet, 9-year-old brown lab rescue named Jada. We work from home mostly and have two young kids so she's great with children. Jada's well mannered in the house (doesn't jump up on furniture w/o permission), won't run away and loves to be around people. If you dare to play fetch with her, she'll do it for hours and always drops the ball at your feet. This is our go-to in lieu of a walk which makes her a happy, tired camper. We do have a fenced yard and a school with a large field at the end of our street which we take advantage of. Our 9 year old son really wants another dog and thought we'd host a few first to see if we can handle it.

Dad has hybrid office work schedule. Holly is a 25lb 6 yo labradoodle. Super sweet and lower energy but loves her walks and fluffy toys. Sleeps a lot during the day and loves people cuddles and belly rubs. She is crate trained and goes there if we run out and often overnight (when not sleeping with sister). We do not typically crate during day more than 4 hours (after potty break) and only if can’t take with us. We would be seeking similar swap/style of pup parent (crate trained preferred).

We hike on local trails every morning, have a fenced yard, and work from home so someone will be around almost all of the time. Our dog is 7 years old, friendly with dogs and people, and naps most of the day after a morning walk. He isn't interested in long stretches of rambunctious play so if your dog has lots of doggy play energy it probably won't be a great fit.

I work from home and am available to look after pups all day long, Dad (dermatologist willing to also look at a pup's skin problems) is willing to roll on the floor and wrastle, Oldest daughter is leaving for NYU in August and we barely see her. Child 2 is 14 and is responsible for morning dog walks. Child 3 is also 14 and responsible for afternoon dog walks. All dogs get before-bed walks by the parents. We live adjacent to Briones open space so weather permitting, dogs get healthy long hikes in the hills on weekends. We are open to hosting any type of dog(s). We crate our dogs at night so preference for dogs who get crated or sleep on beds outside of human bedrooms. We have a large dog playpen outside as well as a large interior home for dogs to enjoy.

Bernee is a non-shedding hypoallergenic goldendoodle named Bernee. He weighs about 30 lbs and his birthday is April Fools (born in 2021). He is a very friendly pup and loves all dogs (no matter how shy) and people equally. He is neutered, crate trained and knows most basic tricks (VERY treat motivated!). He is not allowed on the furniture. We walk him 2-3x/day on the local trail and would offer the same thing for your pup! Twyla is our newest addition, she was born May 11, 2022 and we are training her to be similar to Bernee. She is a double doodle and is 31 lbs (looks smaller but weighs more than her brother!). We would love to host your pup! Bernee hasn’t met a dog he doesn’t like. We have a decent sized fenced in backyard.
