Dog Boarding near Springfield, VA

Hi! We are Shoshana and Andrew and Luna is our sweet 4 year old goldendoodle. She is the friendliest girl and loves to say hi to every dog, person and kid, but does not get along with cats. She loves to be outside whether it’s for a walk or dog park or to just lay in the grass in the backyard. She also loves to fetch and tug and play with stuffed toys. When not playing with toys or spending time outside she can be found snoozing, gnawing on some yak cheese, or staring out the window watching squirrel TV. If you work at a desk she will find her way underneath it so she can lay next to your feet. One of her favorite ways to show her love is to give kisses. If you let her she will lick your face, or hands, or really any part of your body she can reach. She is a bit excitable when someone comes into the house and will jump up on you (we are working on it). She does not sleep in a crate, but sleeps on the floor or in a dog bed next to the bed. If invited she will come up on the bed or couch and snuggle briefly, but more often she wants attention and love on her own terms and space the rest of the time. We are looking for friendly, playful, but not too energetic dogs for playdates and to exchange dog sitting.

I have had dogs my entire life. In fact, I say that life without dogs would be cruel and unusual punishment. Friends affectionately refer to me as the crazy dog lady, but I can’t help it, dogs are my most favorite thing on the planet! Stella, is the stereotypical husky. She is sweet, silly, and sassy, and also is a notorious escape artist! While she does not jump fences, she is an opportunist and will take advantage of any opening. Whiskey is a sweet boy. He is a rescue that did not have a great start for the first two years of his life, but he is making great progress and I am so proud of him. We recently started agility and he is a natural!
