Dog Boarding near Burke, VA

We’re a family of 4 with 2 Catahoulas. We all love dogs

Hi - i live in Burke, VA with my two chi mixes, Brayden and Austyn. They are both small (under 15lbs). I also have two cats.

Hi I’m Heidi and Penny’s mom, Rebecca. We live in Burke with my husband, Andy, as well as our 3 children (14, 10, 9). Heidi and Penny are two very sweet, young mini golden doodles. Especially for being under 2 years old, they’re pretty calm pups aside from those first 30 seconds of excitement when a visitor comes in the house. 😃 They are pretty low maintenance as long as they’re loved on. They also love to play and wrestle each other a couple times/day, they love their walks, they love to bask in the sun light of a sunny window, they love to curl up next to one of us on the couch, they love their treats, they love to sleep, and they (ahem, Heidi) will seize the opportunity to snag their human siblings’ food that has been left in prime snagging locations. They enjoy all people big and small and they love other dogs. I think they would probably try to chase any kitties inside a home, but I am not sure… Heidi and Penny are a great pair. They keep each other entertained and cozy, but they certainly love affection from their human family. Aside from a 36 hour weekend away where a trusted friend cared for them, I have not had the heart to leave or board them anywhere. So Heidi and Penny have otherwise travelled with us for all of our trips. But one of these days I realize they won’t be able to come, so I’m looking forward to finding a loving home away from home for them on occasion, as I’m likewise excited to host some local puppy pals to in our home.… Play dates would also be awesome too!

River is a rescue and loves people of all ages. She is totally safe with young children. She’s not fond of cats and don’t think a home with cats would be a good fit In terms of other gods she has several dog friends but can be defensive and protective when we are walking She is not at all destructive in the house and is fully potty trained she can spend time in her crate but prefers free reign of the he house.

Buttercup is a super cuddly mini-golden doodle. She lives in a house with teens and tweens and enjoys cuddling g as well as going for walks and playing.

Leonard is a very well behaved dog. He loves children and other pets. He does have some anxiety, but a little love makes it better.

Fusha lives with me and my teenage daughters. She is sweet, gets excited when she sees someone but also anxious around strangers. Although she approaches some right away. She always wants to sniff a dog and initiate playtime. Most dogs like her. She has lots of neighborhood doggy friends she plays or walks with. Sometimes we go on short trips and need someone to watch Fusha. Happy to watch a dog when needed but a preference for Burke. Driving a distance back and forth is not feasible for me with my work schedule. I don’t know how Fusha would react with a new dog at our home. We would have to have a playdate first.

I am seeking a playmate for my pup. He is very very friendly and loves playing with other dogs!! He has never met a cat before. He lives in a home with boys and girls ages 11-15. He loves all people, but he jumps when he gets excited. So he is a work in progress. He loves chasing balls and playing tug of war. He enjoys the cooler weather and gets hot easily in the summer due to his fur. Currently he is not great at walking on a leash and is in training. He is also an intact male at the moment.

We adopted Buster on March 20, 2021 and he has been a great addition to our family! He loves all dogs (he has attended doggy day care and goes to dog parks often) and humans (wants to meet everyone on our walks/dog parks) He has had some exposure to cats and so far he does well with them. He is a happy dog who loves belly rubs and lots of loving. He is perfectly content just hanging out near any human. Buster is house trained and walks well on a leash. Buster is up to date with all of his vaccines, rabies shot, heartworm, flea, and tick monthly medication.

We are a family of 4 humans (mom & 3 kids ages, 14, 11 and 11), 1 goofy terrier mix, 1 cat, 1 bearded dragon, 1 leopard gecko, and 1 fish. Yes, we love animals! Gruffalo, our pup, is a sweet, slightly rambunctious terrier mix who loves everyone and every dog. He plays with dogs of all sizes and loves to be petted (nonstop).

We are an active family, Gilbert loves walks and hikes. He also loves nap time! We have 2 cats in the house and he plays with them as well. He is quite behaved but will beg for pizza crust. Gilbert also has 2 human sisters and is used to being asked to be pet by children and adults.

Hello! We are Alex and Johnny! We have two dogs, both are almost one. They are loving and adore kids and other dogs. They are very playful and sweet, and active! Would love to find someone we can swap dog sitting services with because we go out of town frequently with our son. Our family loves to travel, especially on school breaks. We live in Fairfax County and have a house with a large yard for the pups! Our dogs are crate trained.

Marley is a fully house trained sweet golden retriever. She is good with kids and adults, sometimes a bit jumpy when she first meets someone but calms down quickly. . She likes walks twice a day plus some ball chasing in the backyard.
