They are also SG Giants and Golden State Warriors fans and allow me to yell and scream at the TV. Typical pugs, they love food but I will limit treat intake.

Hi, I’m Cindy and I’m a new dog mom to Cole, who is a rescue pup from South Korea. Cole is a Korean Jindo mix and was found with his 5 siblings and mama behind a factory in the middle of winter. We usually take Cole out 3x a day. He’s potty trained, very food motivated, knows all the basic commands (sit, stay, wait, leave it, drop it), doesn't bark much or at all, and does really well with other dogs (doesn't bark at them, even when they're barking at him). Since he’s a rescue, he does have a lil bit of stranger danger with people, but will warm up to you if you have snacks and give him some time. My boyfriend and I live in Daly City and have two small Chihuahuas. They are rescues and are rather special. Doogie is very fearful and shy, but he is treat motivated. Fawnsy is fearful at first, but becomes a firecracker full of energy and loves to give kisses and attack your face. We've had family watch them several times and Doogie basically hides/sleeps all day. Fawnsy takes a full day or so to warm up to new people, once she's more comfortable she's got way more energy than Doogs and likes to eat bones, play with her squeaky toys, and give cuddles. Neither dog does great with other dogs and can become defensive/loud and somewhat nippy. They do fine with dogs that are similar in size and ignore them. We are happy to host your small dog in return! Paul is in law school and spends about 60% of his time at home and the rest on campus. I work from home 3 days a week and 2 in office. If hosting your dog we would not leave them alone ever, especially given our dogs unique temperaments/personalities.

Hi! This is Benny. He's a 95ish lbs Rottweiler, not neutered (yet! we're waiting for him to finish growing) male. He's very friendly with people and other dogs (with the exception of other intact males), and he grew up with kittens and rats so he gets along well with other animals as well. He's just over 2 years old, so he's still a bit "puppy-brained" in that he can get overexcited and forget his manners a little bit, especially when meeting new friends, but he loves to cuddle and play. But he's very food motivated and easy to train and redirect as well. He does tend to pull on a leash, we're working on it, but we walk him with a Halti and it really helps. My husband Jonathon and I recently moved from Iowa. I grew up on a farm around a lot of animals and have lots of experience and am very comfortable with large and small dogs. We are in an apartment but there's large grassy areas for walking and dog parks close by. We are located by Lake Merced/Stonestown/San Francisco State University

We are a family of 5 with three pets - 1 dog and two cats. Our dog Murphy is friendly and loves to play with other dogs of all ages and sizes. He is 2 years old, 75 pounds and still has a lot of puppy energy. He has zero issues with kids, adults or cats. He was crate trained as a puppy but no longer uses one. He does rest on his dog bed as a chill zone. Any dog we host needs to be friendly to kids (ours are 12, 16 and 18) and tolerate cats (our cats will ignore or may hiss and run away). We live in San Francisco and have a large fenced in back yard where the dogs can play. We are also in a very walkable neighborhood and close to a dog park. We live in SF with our 15 year old son (two daughters away at university) and my husband experiences allergies so we would can only host non-shedding/hypoallergenic dogs. Hi we are in San Francisco and Nori is 2year old medium size 31 pounds, golden doodle . She’s very friendly and playful. She has no set schedule but will go with the flow of your schedule . Very easy going but does bark at the mailman or delivery people. Gets along with other dogs and children. She may counter surf so keep your food away from the counter /table edges. She is potty trained. We try to take her out to our yard every 3-4 hours for potty time and to get some air. We take her on walks when we can (no set requirement). Meals are two times a day. She is fine at home for 3-4hours at a time (we take her out before we leave). When at home, she will nap on the furniture and nibble on her stuffies. She sleeps in our our bed at night but has been known to just lay with your dog where ever your dog sleeps.

We live by Sutro Park and Lands End where we walk twice daily. We have a big back yard and a deck w pet friendly stairs. We have our own businesses and I work from home so the dogs get alot of care and attention. I love to bake and cook so I make a chicken brown rice veggie mix weekly and serve it over their kibble daily. We want to travel again. He’s well-trained, off leash most of the time and low maintenance. He is a late sleeper :) and goes out twice a day, usually around 10 or 11am and then again sometime between 5pm and 7pm for a bigger outing. In-between his walks he is happy to lay around the house all day. He loves rubs and not being alone :) He loves to walk in GG Park, hike on trails, and the beach.

Fast forward another year and now my partner and I have two dogs that we love and adore 💙 We’ve spent a lot of time puppy sitting and always give the same care and attention to other dogs as our own and are always kind full of play styles, behaviors and making everyone as comfortable as possible. While we live in the city in an apartment, we make it a point to make sure our own dogs and any guest doggos get the exercise they need with adequate potty walks, and afternoon break, evening park time or a walk, and a nighttime break prior to ample cuddles in bed. We’ve hosted furiends in our apartment as well as apartment/house sat elsewhere and are comfortable with both depending on what is best for everyone and what makes sense for the situation. Our dogs are both doodles with their own quirks and so we love and understand any quirks that come with yours as well!

Hi there! My name is Diana, I live in the Castro in SF with my red merle Aussie named Tallulah. She is a high energy dog with a big appetite for all the snacks. Her favorite game is tug and we love to find a nice grassy field or wide open beach where she can run to her heart’s content. Otherwise, you’ll find us beginning our agility career at Golden Gate Dog Sports which has been a great way for her to channel her energy. As a herding dog in the city, Tallulah struggles with reactivity towards strangers and other dogs - she just wants to make new friends! This has made me a much more attentive dog handler, and I spend a lot of my free time learning about R+ training and managing Tallulah around her triggers. It’s helped us develop a really strong relationship! I would be happy to host other pups, including reactive ones, in my home. Tallulah does best with other dogs who love to play as well. I can host dogs who are fully house and preferably crate trained as I do not let multiple dogs freely roam the house when left alone. I also have a backyard where the dogs can play together!

Hello! This is Vinny. He was rescued from SF SPCA. I adopted him 12/29/23. He is super playful, sweet, energetic and cuddly. We are working on his nibbling, house training, and car rides. He walks pretty well but can get excited when he sees a dog in the distances and pulls on the leash. He is highly food motivated and has a good appetite. He is on dog food/supplement that helps his runny stool.

My husband and I have 3 kids ages 14, 14 and 13. Luna is a Covid puppy who loves napping in the same room with us. She is very sweet and loves people. She is friendly with other dogs and loves her ball. We can host a dog who is house trained and is good with kids, dogs and dog parks.

We have a lovely 3-year old Bernedoodle called Isaac. He is a very chill, calm dog, actually never jumped up in his life, but loves a good walk. We would be happy to host other doodles (all kinds). We live 1 block from Golden Gate park and generally Isaac gets walked about 3 times a day. He gets on well with other dogs except un-neutered males, as he goes out with dog walkers all the time.

Goose is a Jindo mix from Korea! She is quite shy with strangers but loves other dogs and dog parks. As a Jindo, she is a bit of an escape artist, so I typically don’t let her off leash– I just drop her leash when in public.

My husband and I are looking for someone who would like to swap dog sitting services in our homes when we travel out of town! Hoping we can find a likeminded match so we both can gain peace of mind knowing our pups will be loved and well taken care of when we travel. We live next to a small park that we go to every morning and evening and we also take one longer off leash fun walk in Golden Gate Park which is 2 blocks away. Sawyer is a Formosan Mountain Dog mix and he’s generally very easy going. He loves hiking and is energetic on walks, but he’s super chill and sleepy at home. He’s almost 9 years old so he doesn’t really like to play with other dogs and prefers a dog buddy (as well as humans) who is on the calmer side and who will respect his personal space. He’s not a snuggler but will gladly accept butt scratches!

Sydney and I are two gals loving living in the Haight/Cole Valley area. When we aren’t at the office (M, W, Th) you can find us playing ball in GGP, exploring buena vista park, or strolling around the neighborhood. Sydney is extremely friendly to people and dogs (although she can be a solo operator and usually prefers a game of fetch to playing with a friend). She’s also been professionally trained and is extremely well behaved (good in the car, alone, on transit, in the office, etc.). As she gets older, she’s learning to appreciate a good sniffy walk almost as much as a day running around at the beach.
