I'm looking for a dog-loving Warm Springs resident who would be interested in boarding our dog in their home while we are on vacation. We're hoping to find someone who truly enjoys the company of dogs rather than a traditional professional sitter or kennel service - we’ve tried those before but haven’t found the perfect fit for our boy. Our dog is a 6.5-year-old Lab - Staffordshire mix, around 43 lbs. He’s a happy, affectionate, and very people-loving boy! He loves meeting every dog he sees on his walks and is calm and patient even if another dog barks or jumps on him. He enjoys three short walks a day and then is perfectly content lounging on the couch getting cuddles. He thrives on human companionship and has a bit of separation anxiety, so we’re looking for someone who can give him a little extra love and attention. He’s very gentle with furniture and household items — not the house-breaking kind at all — and would never cause damage. He does get super excited when he sees a friendly face or hears the doorbell, but he settles down quickly. He doesn’t need a backyard (he prefers being indoors with his people), and we kindly ask that he not be left outside in the yard during the day or night. We're looking for someone who would care for him like their own family member. Of course, we will provide all his food, medications, bed, and anything else needed to make things easy for you!
