Introduction

We live in Albany with our 25 lbs dog Trillian, (Trill for short). She's named for a character in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. At 11 years old, Trill is a fit senior dog. She loves to walk and hike, and typically likes meeting other dogs, both big and small. While she isn't cuddly, she rarely barks and is easy to get along with. Unfortunately, with age she has epilepsy and allergies and takes medication 2x's daily. The epilepsy is 100% controlled by meds. The toughest thing is that she coughs and sneezes several times a day, so perhaps we could trade with another dog with a few medical needs. A bit more about her personality: She's more of a dog - dog. With people she's tends to be more aloof.

  We work from home so we are home most of the time. We take a long walk 3 x's a week in the AM's and our dog used to walk with us 15 miles a week. She rarely joins us now on this walk. My husband walks our dog a few blocks every evening. Occasionally, we take our dog to the Albany Bulb which she loves!

  *If your dog walks a lot, we might be able to help you out. *We'd prefer to care for a dog over 4 years old as our dog is older. *Talk to us if your dog takes medication, as that might be a good fit. *Best for us if your dog doesn't chase cats, as we have one. *Our dog isn't experienced with small children.
