Hi! I am Alexis and I live near the beach in Connecticut. I love dogs (and all animals) probably to an unhealthy degree, but having grown up with dogs my entire life I guess I didn’t stand a chance! I am a trained opera singer and have sung all over the world, and my two dogs, Zeus and Hera, have even come with me (they lived in Austria, and have visited Prague!) Nowadays I stay at home a bit more as I work in higher ed but I still love to sing (and of course, hang out with my dogs.) Zeus and Hera are two chihuahua terrier mixes and they are smart, affectionate, and versatile pups who enjoy hiking as much as they do just lying on the couch. Hera is a bit feisty with other dogs on the leash but quickly settles once she’s had an intro. Zeus loves other dogs and loves being part of a pack. They’re very easy, laidback dogs though they will bark at a stranger or two (being chihuahuas, they can’t seem to help it.) Zeus has some medical issues that requires a little drop of medicine on his food but otherwise he’s a very happy and energetic boy!
