Dog Boarding near Ventura, CA

Shula and I have similar personalities. 1) we love all dogs and people 2) we have a lot of playful energy 3) we like to walk and hike 4) we don’t sweat the small stuff. I’m retired so my day is usually flexible, and Shula goes along with the flow. She doesn’t shed and doesn’t have separation anxiety. We petsit together for www.Trustedhousesitters.com (unless I’m going on a sit further away, then I schedule a Trustedhousesitter to come here). I’d mainly use this site for shorter trips (1-3 days) when something might come up last minute.

Just getting oriented

Hi everyone! Nala and I are so excited to try this all out. We love hiking and playing at the beach. Nala gets along with all dogs but prefers to meet them off leash for the first meeting. On leash is frustrating for her. She loves to wrestle and play chase, especially at the beach! Unfortunately, we cannot board you in our home because of my living situation. We would love to sit for you in your home (Nala doesn’t have to come if you don’t want her to).

Welcome to our family. Merle & Claude are our two iggies. They are velcro dogs and do best in a relaxed home setting with humans present. They are quiet dogs who are laid back and love to lounge and sunbathe. Being a delicate breed we are careful with larger dogs being around them. They have not been exposed to children so we are not sure how they would respond, but assume a little distance is what they would prefer. Reach out to meet us!

Kai is a high energy love-pup! He looooves attention and to play with his doggie friends in the apartment community we live in. He has a feline brother named Hilo and does fairly good off leash with an ecollar.

Karma is a very hyper and fun-loving dog! She’s quite big, but is also a big baby! Karma loves being outside, is very playful and loves wrestling with her dog friends. She can be a bit rough with dogs her size but is calm and patient with smaller dogs. Very motherly. Karma hates the water and hates being cleaned in any way, although mom is willing to wrestle her to ensure she’s clean! Karma has SIX human siblings of all ages and 1 dog sibling; a frenchie. She’s protective of her pack but very loving. Her hyper behaviors can sometimes scare others as she loves to jump and lick! We would love to find someone to switch boarding with and also find Karma a bestie.
