He has displayed claustrophobic characteristics always, but clearly has travel phobia (has always been uncomfortable in closed spaces) hence makes it difficult for us to take him with us even for travel/holidays that is a few hours on road.

We take him out for ~45 min walks everyday. Potty trained, good with other dogs. Cats are a big no for him . During the rest of the day he will be sunbathing in our backyard, following us around the house, ask to cuddle sometimes but overall very quiet and by himself. He doesnt jump on furniture.

Burphy is a sweet, low to no shedding goldendoodle who is 2 yo, 40 lb and small enough to be picked up by a grownup. She is potty trained and mostly prefers lounging in the house. She likes short walks for sniffing and potty but is not keen on long walks. She is playful and not dangerous to other dogs and usually plays hard for 15-20 mins before calming down and taking it easy. We keep her off the furniture usually and she will find a spot on the bare floor and get comfortable. She is easy to leave behind at home in a play pen where she will comfortably spend 5-6hrs if between 9-5 typically. Generally low maintenance and loves to be petted a lot. Tends to demand food if she smells meat but we keep her away from human food so she has learned to calm down and be ignored when we are eating.

I have 2 cute rescue dogs at home - Chase and Lumi. Chase is 6years old and he’s small (<20 lbs) mixed Chihuahua Terrier. Lumi is 3 years old Korean Jindo pup (~30 lbs).

Prince is 9 or 10 years old Maltipoo. We adopted him from a rescue in 2018. He is a sweet loving boy who loves being around humans. He is ok with small female dogs but doesn't do well with super active dogs as he prefers being an alpha dog. We do foster small dogs (females only) and Prince does really well with them. He is house trained.

Bibi is a really fun and gentle dog. He likes strangers more than me and greets everyone he meets. I have had him since he was two months old. He is extremely playful and can play just with his leash for hours. I am a single professional in tech and travel from time to time.

We got Yogi when Covid was just starting. He was rescued by San Francisco SPCA. He is the friendliest and happiest dog we’ve ever had. He loves kids, dogs and especially people. We are comfortable hosting house-broken, crate-trained, spayed/neutered dogs, preferably larger breeds.

Hi, I have 2 dogs - Romeo and Poppy. Romeo is a 5-yr old Lhasa Apso mix, calm, mostly likes to be by himself, loves people and kids. He doesn't like to be carried, but loves getting scritches from humans. Poppy is a 13-month old Brittany Spaniel with an extroverted personality, a very energetic goofball that can play all day long. Gets along with all kinds of dogs, especially large rambunctious ones, loves people, loves kids. She needs oral meds which she usually accepts readily, or when mixed in with treats/cheese. When hosting, we'd prefer one dog since we haven't hosted more than one at a time, and just for a few days to start off with. Ideally it's a dog that won't mind Poppy and can match her puppy energy, because Romeo is generally pretty chill. We have a large fenced-in yard and we're an active household that take dogs out for walks/hikes.

Rancho is a goldendoodle. He is 85 lbs. We are family of 5 including rancho. He hates cats and squirrels. He needs his morning walk and evening walk. We have left him alone couple of hrs at home and he was fine. We have a house with backyard and we leave patio opening for him to go in and out. Loves to drink water so always have his water bowl full. He is social loves to get cuddles. Ok on sofa and bed with us. Hates crates sleeps on floor or sofa. Hello! We live in a townhome in south Fremont . Kaila is a cute toy poodle mix (likely a maltipoo). She’s approximately 9.5 years old, adopted from the Oakland SPCA 7 years ago, weighing in at a whopping 3.2 lbs😎 She does have some medical (GI) issues but they’re controlled with a strict low fat diet of chicken breast (plus some veggies). She also has some separation anxiety and tends to be an alpha, but once she establishes who the boss is😉 she gets along well with people and most other dogs, even really big ones . Kaila loves attention and to cuddle in your lap. Except for protective barking when the doorbell rings or humans/dogs are approaching, she’s quiet and very well behaved. She’s also potty trained but may occasionally have an accident in a new place if she gets too stressed. She can be left alone for a few hours though I suspect it’s better not to do so while she’s away from home.

If instructed to go potty, he will go potty. He can stay by himself upto 7 hours. We did not try more than 7 hours so far. Overall she’s a pretty good dog, takes a little time to get to know someone new. She does fairly well with kids overall. I do have a 3 year old boy. Would do better with little bit older. She does know how to use a doggy door. She isn’t kennel trained and she likes to be on your lap and with you. Sitting next to you or lying with you on your bed. She does bark at new people.

I live in central fremont and have a 15 pound friendly terrier. I am happy to host a dog shedding or not under 50 pounds at my home. I would prefer that the dog be crate trained,potty trained, neutered/spayed and doesn’t get on couches and beds. Also that the dog have a good temperament towards my dog and my family members.

We live in Fremont with a large fenced in backyard well suited for dogs to run around in. Hunter is our 3YO mini Aussie with a gentle disposition and basically an old soul. He loves to go for his walks and play ball (for treats!) and sometimes goes hiking with us. We are dog lovers and Hunter is spoiled!! My husband and I are semi-retired and WFH. I worked as a dog walker for 3 years prior to COVID. We can host dogs that have a gentle disposition as that works the best with Hunter and possibly are ok with cats as we have an older kitty. Prefer dogs under 70 lbs.

Ray is a loving, friendly Shih Tzu mix that we fostered and adopted. He is definitely not an alpha, and loves people. His favorite things to do are to cuddle up next to you and chill or to go to the dog park and sniff everywhere. He likes to play with his toy lamb stuffy.

Hello! Yogi is a big softy. While he gets along most dogs, loud or overly active dogs can be scary for him. He mostly sleeps during the day. In late afternoon, we go for a long walk or to local dog parks. He only barks to guard the house from package delivery men/women. Yogi is not crate trained. We are open to hosting dogs small to large. Yogi actually does really well with smaller dogs. We do work from home full time, so ideally a dog that can be 'chill' until we are done with work and non-barkers.

Two year old mini golden retreiver, not yet neutered, well mannered, fully trained, used to 2 walks one in the morning and one in the evening. Does not go during the day. Eats wet and dry food twice a day. Sleeps between walks and meals! Loves to fetch ball in the morning. gentle and loving and kind to everyone including babies.

We are a bit of a crazy dog family! Our dogs are our children. We have hosted larger dogs but we mostly stick to small or medium sized dogs that are okay with kids (kids are over 8 and great with giving dogs space). We have birds in a cage as well. Our dog is a small daushan mix rescue. She was born in 2014 and a very mild personality. We are an active family. Our home has doggie doors and a good fenced in backyard. We do have neighbors that don't like excessive barking. And we want fully potty trained and no big bad habits (ie biting or chewing everything or digging up our garden plants). We are fine with snoring, some shedding, and begging habits. We are a good family if your rules are pretty easy going. We are less likely to match with a dog family that has particular needs (i.e., my dogs only eat at this time, my dog must only be walked at these specific times, my dogs will only sleep with no sound...). Our dog (and family) are super easy going but we want to maintain the flexibility in our lives when sitting for other dogs.
